Driver Canon G1000

Without the driver, some functions and features in the printer usually cannot be controlled through the computer, even in some cases the computer cannot detect the printer at all.

Therefore it is important to install the driver first before using it for printing so that all the features and functions embedded in it can be controlled and run optimally.

Canon itself actually has provided the driver CD that is included in the box of purchase, but because it is rarely used the CD is usually lost or even damaged.

If you are currently experiencing this problem, you don’t need to worry because you can still install the driver without the CD by using the installation file provided here.

By using the installation file, the installation process will be easier, you can even install it directly on a laptop or computer that is not equipped with a CD room.

Canon Pixma G1000 itself is a printer that can only be used for printing, this printer is capable of printing with a resolution of 3800 x 1200 dpi at a speed of 8.8 ipm for black and white or 5.0 ipm for color.

Driver Canon G1000 Type

Canon provides two types of drivers that you can choose according to your needs, the regular version driver files can be installed offline and only install the printer driver, while the full version driver files can be used to install drivers and other additional software.

The driver files available here are compatible with various versions of Windows, from Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 8.1 to Windows 10 whether 32-bit or 64-bit versions.

Installation Guide

Installing drivers is actually the same way as installing Windows applications in general, but so that you don’t get confused here, I will explain the steps for installing regular drivers without additional software.

Please download the driver file below first, if the printer is currently connected to the computer, unplug it first. After that, please refer to the following steps.

1. Double click on the downloaded driver file.
2. In “Welcome” window select Next.
3. Select location “Asia” then Next.
4. When approval window appears select Yes.
5. Wait for the installation process to complete.
6. Connect printer to computer.
7. When a successful installation notification window appears, select Complete.

At this point, you have successfully installed Canon G1000 driver, you can immediately use the printer to print or restart the computer first so that the driver can run optimally.
